1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all legal services provided by Golden Legals (goldenlegals.com), with registered office at 1250 René-Lévesque Blvd West, Suite 400, Montréal, QC H3B 4W8, Canada (Business Number (BN): 732-581-947). They govern the rights and obligations between you and Golden Legals for services requested via our website or by email.

2. Services

Golden Legals undertakes to provide the following:

• Free Consultation: Initial meeting to discuss your pension, benefits, or estate planning needs.
• Rights Assessment: Detailed review of eligibility for government pension, benefits, and elder-care programs.
• Estate & Will Planning: Preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and estate plans.
• Document Preparation & Filing: Applications, appeals, and agreements for long-term care.
• Ongoing Advocacy: Representation and support for appeals, disputes, and care agreements.

3. Contract Formation

A contract is formed when you submit a binding request via the contact form on goldenlegals.com or by email to info@goldenlegals.com, and we send a written confirmation.

4. Fees & Payment

All fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and exclusive of applicable taxes. Payment terms will be specified in your service confirmation. Accepted methods:

• Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard)
• Bank Transfer (details provided on invoice)

5. Liability & Warranty

We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable care and professional diligence. Our liability for direct damages is limited to the total fees paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

6. Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund entitlements:

• Cancellation of Free Consultation: No charge; simply notify us before the scheduled time.
• Cancellation within 14 days of service agreement: 100% refund of any prepayment, less work already delivered.
• Cancellation after 14 days: No refund for paid retainers; unused hours may be credited toward future services if agreed in writing.

Processing time: Refunds will be issued within 10 business days to the original payment method.
